My Story
Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I’m Kris Kelly, a breathwork guide and singer-songwriter.
It Started with Song
My path began with music. I studied classical voice and music composition at NYU, then spent years traveling through South America with a guitar. That time shaped my album Runaways and deepened my understanding that music can hold what words alone cannot. Through song, I learned to meet my emotions with honesty and reverence, to treat my inner world as something sacred.
Finding the Missing Piece
Still, even with music as my outlet, I was carrying old stress, trauma, and unprocessed emotion. I felt disconnected from my body, from other people, and from life itself. Breathwork became the missing bridge, a way to come home to my body and release what I had been holding. It showed me that healing is not only about understanding our pain but about feeling it, integrating it, and letting it move through us.
My Practice Today
Today, my work is about sharing that practice with others. As a certified breathwork facilitator and hatha yoga teacher, I focus on creating safe, grounded spaces where people can meet themselves fully. The journeys I guide are often intense and transformative but always held with care and clarity. I see myself not as a guru but as a companion, someone walking beside you as you remember what is already within you.
Looking Forward
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in mental health counseling to deepen my understanding of the human psyche and further integrate the worlds of science, spirit, and healing. I am also in the process of launching a nonprofit that brings breathwork, yoga, and meditation into prisons, rehabs, hospices, and underserved communities. My hope is to make these tools accessible to anyone who longs to reconnect with themselves and live with greater peace and wholeness.
My Mission
My mission is simple: to help people use their breath to let go of what’s heavy, remember their wholeness, and return home to themselves.
The Paths that Shape My Work
True Healing For Everyone
I’m currently building a nonprofit initiative to bring this work into the communities that need it most: prisons, hospitals, shelters, schools, and recovery centers. The vision is to make breathwork, yoga, and meditation accessible to those who rarely have access to healing spaces.
Through simple, trauma-sensitive practices, the goal is to help people reconnect with their breath, calm their nervous systems, and remember their own worth and belonging. The organization will also support programs for LGBTQ+ youth, trauma survivors, and individuals in recovery.
If you’re part of a community that could benefit from this kind of support, I’d love to connect.
Breathe With Me
When the mind is loud and the heart is tired, the breath tells the truth. This practice invites you to slow down, feel your body, and regulate your nervous system with kindness. Guided cues and subtle music lead you from activation to release to integration.
