Breathwork for Grief Relief | Healing the Heart Through Breath

Hold space for what hurts with this gentle breathwork for grief practice. This guided session is created to support emotional release, heart healing, and nervous system regulation when grief feels heavy in the body. Grief arrives in many forms—for someone we’ve lost, for a version of ourselves that’s gone, or for the way life used to be. While grief can feel overwhelming, it isn’t something to fix or push away. Through conscious breathing, we create space around the ache and allow the body to soften what it’s been holding. This practice offers breathwork exercises for grief that support emotional safety without forcing release. If tears come, they’re welcome. If numbness is present, that’s welcome too. Everything you feel—or don’t feel—belongs here.

This practice is especially supportive if you are:
• Processing grief or loss
• Holding sadness, heaviness, or emotional pain
• Seeking gentle emotional release
• Wanting to calm the nervous system
• Practicing self-compassion during difficult moments
• Looking for a trauma-aware approach to healing

✨ What You’ll Experience in This Practice:
• Gentle guided breathwork to support grief release
• Slow breathing for nervous system regulation
• Heart-centered awareness to soften emotional tension
• Space for emotions to arise naturally
• Body-based grounding and safety
• A compassionate container for grief and healing

This session also weaves elements of nervous system regulation meditation, helping the body feel supported while grief moves at its own pace. You may notice moments of stillness, emotion, or quiet presence—each one a form of healing. Use this grief breathwork practice anytime you feel tender, overwhelmed, or in need of emotional support. Let this be a moment where you don’t have to be strong—only present.
